So, who are the people that make up our team?
Meet Desislava Petrova, Soft Skills Trainer at Telerik Academy and Grigori Karanikolov, Partner Program Director. We asked them a few questions so you could get to know them better.

Meet Desislava Petrova, Soft Skills Trainer
Can you explain as simply as possible what you do at Telerik Academy?
I teach essential soft skills for software developers in the 21st century and coach the participants in
Telerik Academy Alpha to overcome challenges during the program. Upon graduation, I help them build stunning resumes and prepare for the job application process so they can land their first IT job.
What is your favorite part of your job?
As a psychologist, I find training, coaching, and getting to know highly motivated people from various backgrounds very enriching. Not only do they prepare for a new professional qualification during their participation in our Alpha programs, but they also go through an inspiring personal transformation.
What is the last book you read?
BIASED: 50 Powerful Cognitive Biases That Impair Our Judgment - by Henry Priest. It is about the top 50 subconscious errors in thinking that lead us to misinterpret information from the environment around us.
Tell us one curious fact about you:
I have 3 big passions: psychology, foreign languages, and creative expression (painting and writing poetry).
Meet Grigori Karanikolov, Partner Program Director
Can you explain as simply as possible what you do at Telerik Academy?
I communicate with and sign partnerships with all the leading companies, who will become the employers of our Alpha graduates.
What is your favorite part of your job?
Helping people is in my DNA. That's what my job is all about - I help companies find their new great teammates, and I help our awesome students find their dream employers and kickstart their careers in IT.
What is the last book you read?
"A man called Uve". It's great when solid human emotions are depicted in such a simple yet impressive way.
Tell us one curious fact about you:
You can often see me DJing at various clubs in Sofia.
