Creating great User Experience (UX) and crafting outstanding User Interface (UI) are among the most highly sought-after and appreciated design skills. At the same time, the talent pool possessing these skills is scarce.
That’s why in June we launched the first-ever complete UX and UI Design program in Bulgaria. 37 professionals successfully graduated from the 3-month intensive training, learning how to design digital experiences that put users front and center.
Led by some of Bulgaria’s top experts in the field, the program was packed with industry-validated frameworks and methodologies learners could immediately put into practice.
The first part of the program was entirely dedicated to UX. From research and competitive analysis, through surveys and interviews to prototyping and conducting user tests—participants experienced the complete process of improving users’ interactions with digital products.

In its second part, the program focused on UI. Learners gained a complete understanding of UI design methodologies, covering everything from designing for web, mobile and IoT interfaces, to creating and following design systems. They learned more about layout and grids, the secrets of advanced typography and colors and became familiar with the front-end fundamentals and best practices in working with front-end teams.
With the help of our experienced Learning and Development Trainers, all participants augmented their ability to manage feedback and expectations, ask the right questions, prioritize and stick to their high-value activities. These new power skills coupled with their UX and UI capabilities turned them into a key asset for tech and digital companies looking to expand their design teams.

In October, 37 professionals completed the rigorous training and defended their final projects. Graduating from the UX/UI Design program marked a new career milestone for all of them, and while some are already applying the new knowledge in their current positions, others are looking for their next challenge.
